AXYS reversible guitar slide
Did you get the wrong size Axys?
It can happen. Maybe you bought it on the web, and guessed wrong. Maybe
someone else bought it for you. Maybe the store was out of the right
size. Maybe you got home, tried it out, and changed your mind about
which finger you want to use it on. Whatever the reason, we want you
to have the right size. We'd appreciate it if you could make the swap
within 30 days of purchase.
Here is a sizing
guide that can help you to pick the correct size. (pdf, 39 kb).
Download
our exchange form, (pdf, 26 kb) and print it. Fill it out, and send
it to us along with your present slide, and a one dollar bill to cover
return postage.
Are you between sizes?
Sizing is not super-precise. Personally, I can use either a medium or
a large about equally well. It's more of an issue if you have large
knuckles, just as ring sizing is with some people. Pick the larger of
the sizes you're between, and it works quite well to pad the inside
of the Delrin ring with something. Tape isn't bad; a cut section of
a bandage is ideal. You'll have to experiment a little to get just the
right amount of padding. Brooks Story, the man who invented the Axys,
sets his up this way.
